Our T-Shirt of the Month for April 2022, made of 100% organic cotton by a worker-owned co-operative, and supporting grassroots labour unions in South Asia. This month's design commemorates the epic struggle of mining communities in Britain against the Conservative government of Margaret Thatcher in 1984-5. Miners went on strike against pit closures, while large numbers of women, especially miners' wives, played active roles supporting the strike and enabling it to continue for almost a year until it was eventually defeated. When Thatcher died in April 2013, street parties broke out around the country, especially in former mining communities, and the song "Ding-Dong The Witch Is Dead" reached #2 in the charts. Designed by Zoran Svilar from Novi Sad in Serbia.

When will I receive my t-shirt?
Printing of each T-Shirt of the Month will take approximately one week after being ordered. The shirts will then be shipped from France, and delivery should take up to one week for Europe, and up to 2 weeks for the rest of the world.
In the unlikely event that shirts from Humana Nova are out of stock, design will instead be printed on an organic t-shirt from fairwear foundation leader Stanley & Stella instead.
