The Mujeres Libres (Free Women) were an anarchist feminist group set up in Spain in May, 1936, to fight the "triple enslavement of women, to capital, to illiteracy and to men". They played a key role in the Spanish civil war and revolution 1936-9. This eco-friendly, sturdy, organic cotton tote bag features the logo of their magazine from this time.
