The lyrics of the song, which serves as the standard theme tune to our podcast, include the words:

Under the shadow of a beautiful flower"
The image features an Italian mountain, from which many partisan units were based, as well as Italian papaveri (poppies) – the flowers which came to symbolise the armed resistance to fascism.
