In the UK, workers staged a decades-long struggle to win the right to stop work for tea breaks, and were successful in winning them in many industries. More tea break strikes also broke out in the 1980s when Margaret Thatcher's Conservative government tried to eliminate them.
These sturdy and glossy mugs with vivid print are microwave and dishwasher safe. They feature a design by Jeff Mooridian, Jr for WCH, inspired by the art of Russian revolutionary constructivists, and by the slogan of workers in the US who voted to strike against Prohibition, "No Beer No Work".
