Crop top made of 100% combed cotton, which makes the shirt extremely soft and more durable than regular cotton shirts, with a relaxed fit and dropped shoulders. In 1970, the president of the National Organisation for Women described lesbians as a "lavender menace" which threatened the feminist movement by potentially enabling them to be labelled as just "man hating lesbians". So women in the Gay Liberation Front crashed their congress, wearing t-shirts they printed emblazoned with "lavender menace", and demanded to be heard. Members agreed and within a year NOW members voted to respect lesbian rights. We have also produced this commemorative merch, with faded vintage style print, using their original design.
